Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Systems in Dallas-Fort Worth
Under-sink reverse osmosis systems for cleaner drinking water in homes across Dallas-Fort Worth. Based in Keller, we install them in North Richland Hills, Bedford, Euless, and Hurst.
What Reverse Osmosis Removes

Reverse osmosis reduces much of what is dissolved in tap water: the minerals and salts measured as total dissolved solids, plus the chlorine taste and odor that its carbon filters catch. Exactly which contaminants a system reduces depends on the system and what it is certified for.
- Better-tasting water from the tap
- Reduced chlorine and contaminants
- Clean water for drinking, cooking, coffee, and ice

How a Reverse Osmosis System Works
Reverse osmosis pushes tap water through a very fine membrane. Water passes through, and much of what is dissolved in it stays behind and is rinsed away. Most systems pair the membrane with carbon filters that take out chlorine taste and odor.
The system sits under the kitchen sink and keeps a small tank of finished water ready, so clean water comes out of its own faucet when you need it.
Reverse Osmosis vs a Water Softener
They do different jobs. Reverse osmosis treats the water you drink at one sink. A water softener treats every gallon that enters the house and takes out the minerals that make water hard.
Reverse osmosis does not soften the water running to the rest of the house, and a softener is not a drinking water filter. That is why many homes use both. If hard water is the problem, start with a water softener.
Reverse Osmosis Installation and Filter Service
We install under-sink reverse osmosis systems at the kitchen sink, with their own faucet for drinking water. The filters and membrane wear out with use and need changing on a schedule to keep the water tasting right.
Drinking Water in Dallas-Fort Worth
Most homes across the metro are on city water. Utilities treat that water and disinfect it before it reaches your tap, and the disinfectant is often what people taste and smell. Reverse osmosis with carbon filtration takes that taste out at the kitchen sink.
What else is in your tap water depends on your utility and your pipes. Every water utility publishes an annual water quality report, and the free in-home water test shows what is in the water at your house.
Do I need a reverse osmosis system in DFW?
It depends on your water and what you want from it. Reverse osmosis is for drinking water: it cuts the taste and contaminants you do not want at the kitchen sink. The free in-home water test checks your water for hardness, chlorine, iron, and sediment, so you can decide with real numbers.
